Here’s what we’ve been up to this month:

Repeating Tasks v2

This month, we’re excited to announce our new and improved Repeating Tasks feature, which allows you to now set a recurring schedule for tasks based on the due date of the task. Now, when you set a repeating task, you’ll be prompted to set the recurring due date of each task along with how many days before the due date the task should be created. 

Improvements to Reporting PDFs

We know how important it is to protect sensitive information from being exposed, and our Reporting PDF exports feature supports that. We’ve now introduced support for redacting Deal Name as well, allowing users to edit its redaction options like any other info field. Additionally, you will be able to hide the names of deals that might be redacted when exporting PDFs.

More International Support

You asked and we delivered! This month, we’ve added support for the deal addresses in the following countries:

  • Hungary 
  • Indonesia
  • Latvia
  • Serbia
  • Slovakia
  • Vietnam

We have also added support for Asia and Australia time zones, which allows for more configurability and ease of use for you, our users.

In particular, the CRE Tech Influencers list considers that ten years ago, commercial real estate lagged in advanced tech adoption. Now, real estate is a sector robust with industry-specific venture capital and an array of digital offerings. GlobeSt. looked at how the market got here, with the belief that commercial real estate took longer to embrace technology because the technology itself is harder to customize for the complexities of the industry. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic also rapidly propelled new, necessary

Property Dashboard

This month, we’re excited to announce our Property Dashboard, which allows you to directly view and manage your team’s Properties quickly and easily, all in one place. You no longer need to view the associated deal to view and create properties. Instead, you can see all of your properties in our List and Map views now. The Property Dashboard also makes it easy to configure, filter, and group your display however you like and in whatever way your team needs. It’s all the advanced configuration you love in the Deals Dashboard, now tailored for properties.

Just like on the Deals Dashboard and Reporting page, you can save views on the Property Dashboard. You can save any configurations and filters you need and easily share them with other team members at a later time with a PDF or Excel export. For now, Property Dashboard is in limited release. If you’re interested, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.

Here’s what we’ve been up to this month:

Two-Factor Authentication

This month, we’re excited to release our first version of native two-factor authentication in Dealpath, adding an additional layer of security to our platform for our users. Two-factor authentication in Dealpath will require verification codes in addition to passwords, ensuring data protection and account security. As a SOC 2 Type 2 compliant company, we’re continuously looking to improve on our platform’s enterprise-grade security. Two-factor authentication is the next step. 

Updates to Properties

One of our most popular features from earlier in the year was our Bulk Tools, which allowed account admins to bulk create properties, contacts, and other actions in bulk. We’ve now released an update that allows all Dealpath users to upload and create properties with Bulk Tools, enabling teams to add properties with much more ease and efficiency. 

Repeating Tasks

Our clients have unique workflows that often require the repetition of certain tasks, like providing reports to contractors or other departments internally. We’ve released a Repeating Tasks feature to make that easy, allowing users to create and customize their repeating tasks as needed. And we have plans to keep improving this feature in exciting ways in the future.

Updates to Reporting

We’ve also released new updates to our Reporting feature, adding more customization, filtering, and formatting to better suit your team’s particular needs for investment committee meetings or deal management. 

In particular, we’ve added:

  • Abbreviation support for field configuration
  • Roll-up calculation support
  • Weighted calculation support
  • More precise display options for Deal Info and Reporting

Now, you have access to a team-wide Contacts directory where you can easily keep track of the basic information and data around your individual contacts within a deal—without having to leave the Dealpath platform or use another software tool. With Contacts, you don’t have to worry about losing vital information due to juggling multiple tools or wasting time trying to link data from your CRM to Dealpath.

Contacts empowers you to view, manage, and get reporting on the individual contacts involved in your deal transactions. We designed Contacts to fit your needs. 

Contacts includes:

  • Bulk Contact Tools: Easily import your contacts from any outside CRM or contact book in bulk, rather than one by one. 
  • Notes: Create detailed and comprehensive records for each contact, giving you further context. 
  • Reminders: Create reminders tied to individual contacts for better relationship management within a deal.
  • Activity Feed: View and keep track of all interactions with your contacts on existing  deals.
